The information in this book is good, derived from the author's many years of experience working in the federal government. Nothing surprising; a good deal of sound advice that would apply in all workplaces (get to work on time; have a positive attitude, etc.).
With all due respect to Mr. Liff, this book desperately needed a thorough edit before it went to press. It could be much clearer and more readable. As it is, it reads as if it were written by a long-time bureaucrat. Although that is the case, it didn't have to be.
